Google AI Professional Certificate
Good Things Foundation is pleased to be delivering a funded programme in partnership with Google.org to upskill low skilled workers.
What is the Google AI Professional Certificate grant?
Funding for up to 30 digital inclusion organisations who are experienced in supporting and upskilling employed people, in the following roles:
- Administration
- Secretarial
- Sales
- Customer service
- Data entry
As well as individuals not currently in work, including volunteers supporting the applying organisations (such as Digital Champions).
Successful organisations will be required to support a number of workers to improve their AI skills through the AI Professional certificate learning content which takes approximately up 14 hours to complete fully. Organisations will need to engage with local employers and networks to reach the target audience. Larger organisations are able to upskill relevant members of their workforce as part of this project.
Support must be delivered in a flexible way and we’re looking for organisations to propose their own programme of support in delivery of this programme e.g. group sessions or 1:1 sessions face to face, a blend of face to face and online, self learning.
Project period
The programme will run from 4th January 2027 - 31 January 2028. To note, delivery should wrap up by 31st December 2027 to enable the final payment in January 2028.
Who's eligible for the Google AI Professional Certiicate grant?
To be eligible to apply for this opportunity organisations must be members of the National Digital Inclusion Network. We welcome applications from organisations across the UK.
Organisations must be ready to mobilise early in 2027 and we strongly recommend that organisations review the learning content ahead of application submission.
